Women's Cross Country Slated Fifth in Post Season Polls

ANNVILLE, PA (Oct. 29, 2025) -- The DeSales University women's cross-country team has been picked fifth overall in the MAC Postseason Polls as voted on by the 16 MAC coaches and as released by the conference office on Wednesday morning.  

DeSales totaled 160 points, 13 behind Stevens who landed in fourth place. Rounding out the top three is Misericordia with 219 points and 10 first place votes in first, Lebanon Valley with 214 points and 6 first place votes in second place and Messiah with 192 points in third place.  

Sophomore, Ellie Kozich has had a strong season, finishing first at the DeSales University Invite and the Hornet Harrier Invitational. Kozich finished with a season's best time of 21:59.9 at the Boarder Battle at Rowan University.  

Hannah Miller and Emily Harrington have had strong first-year seasons for the Bulldogs. Harrington ran a season best of 25:18.6 at the Boarder Battle at Rowan University, where Miller also ran a season's best of 24:08.6. 

Last season, DeSales placed 6th in the MAC Championships, at Messiah, and sent Kozich to the Division III National Championship. The Bulldogs are chasing that again this year, as they are back in action for the MAC Championships on Saturday in Doylestown, PA.
