Reading, PA (March 1, 2025) - The DeSales University women's track & field team finished seventh at the MAC Indoor Championships over the weekend at Alvernia University.
First-year
Brooke Signorella qualified for the AARTFC Championships and earned six team points placing third in the 60 meters with a time of 7.93 which is now the team-best time this season in the event. Signorella also competed in the triple jump with a fourth place posting a 11.11 meter mark that also qualified for AARTFC Championships.Â

Ellie Kozich also qualified for the AARTFC Championships as she finished second in the 5,000 meters run posting a time of 17:47.15 to earn the Bulldogs eight team points. She also competed in the 3,000 meters run finishing third with a time of 10:23.33 which is also a qualifying time for AARTFC Championships.Â

Kay Wiscount qualified for AARTFC in the 800 meters run after posting a third place finish with a time of 2:19.59 to earn DSU six team points. Sophomore
Avery Peluszak finished eighth in the 400 meters run with a time of 1:02.37 which is a team-best time so far this season.Â
Sophomore
Catherine Crampton finished fourth in the long jump event with a 5.07 meter mark while Signorella finished eighth with a 4.98 meter mark. Crampton earned the team four points from the event and Signorella one.
Women's 4000 meters DMR qualified for AARTFC Championships finishing sixth and earned three team points.Â
DSU posted 55 total team points that finished tied for seventh in the MAC Indoor Championships.Â
DSU travels to Ithaca College next Friday and Saturday for the AARTFCÂ Indoor Championships.Â
