Center Valley, PA (July 1, 2026) - Sophomores Ellie Kozich and Kay Wiscount were each honored on Wednesday morning being named to Academic All-MAC team for indoor track & field as announced by the conference offices. 

The Winter Academic All-MAC teams recognize the top student-athletes both in the classroom and in athletic competition during the 2026 spring semester. The MAC sports information directors nominate and vote on the Academic All-MAC teams, giving 50 percent weight on both academic success and athletic success. A student-athlete must have a spring semester grade-point average (GPA) of 3.20 or higher to be eligible for the award.

Kozich, a medical studies major, takes homes Academic All-MAC honors in Indoor T&F for the second straight year. She was the MAC Champion in the 5K and took second place in the 3K, while earning USTFCCCA All-Region honors in the mile, 3K, and 5K in indoor T&F. Kozich also earned All-American honors in the 5K finishing sixth at the NCAA Division III Indoor National Championships.

Wiscount, also a medical studies major, was the MAC Champion in the 800-meters at the MAC Indoor T&F Championships and placed fifth in the 400-meters. She earned USTFCCCA All-Region honors in the 800-meters.
