Morgan Sterner from the DeSales University women's basketball team were honored on Tuesday afternoon being named Academic All-District as announced by the College Sports Communicators.
To be eligible for this honor you must be a sophomore or higher, have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or greater, and either play in 90% of games or start 66% of games on your institutions team.
Donmoyer, a psychology major, receives CSC Academic All-District honors for the first time in her career. Donmoyer led the team and was ranked 9
th in the conference in scoring (12.9 PPG) while leading DSU in three-point percentage (35.2%) making a team-high 63 three's which finished second in the MAC Freedom this season. She was also second on the team in assists (1.7 APG) tallying 45 assists. On the defensive side, Donmoyer was tied for first on the team and fifth in the MAC Freedom with 54 steals this season.
Sterner, a communication sciences and disorders major, also receives CSC Academic All-District honors for the first time in her career. Sterner finished second for DSU and ranked 12
th in the conference in scoring (12.3 PPG) and was second on the team with 44 made three's this season. She also finished second for the Bulldogs in rebounding (5.1 RPG) and was also tied for first on the team and fifth in the MAC Freedom with 54 steals.
