Ithaca, NY (February 14, 2026) - Sophomore
Brooke Signorella led several strong performances tying a school-record leading the DeSales University women's track & field team at the Kane Invitational at Cornell University on Saturday.
Signorella tied the school-record in the triple jump with a mark of 11.31m to take first place on Saturday, bettering her MAC qualfying mark and qualfying for the AARTFC Championships. She also posted an MAC qualfying time in the 60-meter dash at 8.23 seconds.
Junior
Catherine Crampton led four more field performances that bettered their MAC qualfying marks. Crampton bettered her mark in the triple jump (10.55m) to take fifth on Saturday, sophomore
Sadie Fenstermaker was fourth in the shot put with a mark of 11.62m, third best mark in school history, sophomore
Sophia Amoretti was eighth in the weight throw (13.36m), and sophomore
Tessa Burghart in the weight throw (10.57m).
Junior
Sarah Hope and first-year
Meaghan Garlick both qualified for the MAC Championships in the 60-meter dash with a time of 8.39 and 8.44 seconds.
Sophomore
Kay Wiscount bettered her 400 qualifying time and qualified for the AARTFC Championships with the second best time in school history, 59.82. First-year
Megan Fornwalt was fourth in the 400, bettering her qualifying time (1:02.49), first-year
Hannah Miller qualified for the MAC Championships in the mile (5:39.77), and first-year
Emily Harrington qualified in the 3K with a time of 11:19.05.
Sophomore
Ellie Kozich also had a terrific weekend performance qualifiying for both the MAC and AARTFC Championships in the mile with the third best time in school history with a time of 5:06.74.
DeSales is back in action in two weeks competing at the MAC Indoor Championships.
