ANNVILLE, Pa (Feb 24, 2026) -- Sophomore Jayden Thomas and Senior Christina DiGuglielmo were named MAC Freedom player of the week and MAC Freedom offensive player of the week, for men's basketball and women's lacrosse, respectively, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday morning.
Thomas capped the regular season with a record-breaking week, averaging 35.0 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 4.0 assists. He surpasses 1,000 career points – becoming the first sophomore in program history to do so – while leading DeSales clinching the No. 3 seed in the MAC Freedom Tournament.
DiGuglielmo helped DeSales post 2-0 record last week totaling eight goals and six assists for 14 points. She had three goals and four assists in the 11-10 (OT) win over Marywood University, scoring the game-winner in OT. DiGuglielmo added five goals and two helpers in the 20-7 win over Gwynedd-Mercy University. She added two ground balls.
