ANNVILLE, PA (Feb. 5, 2026) -- Sophomore Ellie Kozich and junior Joey Wilson were honored on Friday morning being named to the cross country Academic All-MAC Team as announced by the conference office.
The Academic All-MAC teams recognize the top student athletes in both the classroom and athletic competition during the 2025 fall season. The both the men's and women's team consists of ten student-athletes from both the MAC Freedom and MAC Commonwealth teams voted on and selected by the Sports Information Directors of the MAC schools highlighting each student-athletes academic and athletic achievements. To be eligible, you must have a 3.2 GPA for the 2025 fall semester.
Wilson, a sports management major, earned a 3.43 GPA, being named to the Academic All-MAC for the second time in his career.
He adds this honor to a list of postseason accolades including qualifying and competing at Division III nationals, USTFCCCA All-Academic, MAC Fall Academic Honor Roll, and All-MAC First-Team Honors. Wilson placed fifth individually at the MAC Championship.
Kozich, a medical studies major, finished the semester with a 4.0 GPA and has been named Academic All-MAC for the second time.
She adds Academic All-MAC to a notable 2025 season, after qualifying and competing at Division III nationals, being named to the MAC Fall Academic Honor Roll, named All-MAC First-Team Honors, USTFCCCA All-Academic and placing second individually at the MAC Championship.
