Lancaster, PA (February 7, 2026) - Sophomores
Ellie Kozich and
Kay Wiscount each took home first place finishes leading the DeSales University women's track & field team at the Blue and White Invitational hosted by Franklin & Marshall College on Saturday.
Kozich placed first in the 5K with a time of 17:21.41 which qualifies her for both the MAC and AARTFC Championships and is the second best time in team history. Wiscount bettered her MAC/AARTFC qualfying time in the 800-meters with a time of 2:17.98, fourth best in team history.
First-Year
Hannah Miller also bettered her 800 MAC qualifying time with a 10th place finish and time of 2:32.21. First-year
Emily Hoysan placed sixth in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.77. Sophomore
Ashley Carrier qualfied for the MAC Championships in the 60-meter dash (8.42) and first-year
Megan Fornwalt also qualfied in the 200-meter dash with a time of 27.78.
In the field events sophopmore
Brooke Signorella was first in the long jump (4.97m) and bettered her triple jump MAC qualfying mark taking second (10.49m). Junior
Catherine Crampton bettered her triple jump qualfiying mark (10.36m) and qualified for the MAC Championships in the long jump (4.79m). Junior
Sarah Hope also bettered her long jump qualfying mark (4.85m) and sophomore
Brooke Bleam qualified in the high jump (1.40m).
Sophomore
Sadie Fenstermaker finished eighth in the weight throw (13.47m) and bettered her qualfying mark in the shot put (10.72m), while fellow sophomore
Sophia Amoretti qualified for the MAC Championships in the shot put (9.76m) and bettered her weight throw performance (13.13m).
DSU is back in action next weekend competing at the Kane Invitational at Cornell University on Saturday.
