ANNVILLE, PA (March 24, 2026) - Sophomore Jacob Rivera, senior Taylor Wikert and sophomore Brooke Signorella were named baseball MAC Freedom player of the week, men's lacrosse MAC Freedom defensive player of the week and MAC Field athlete of the week, respectively. Rivera powered DeSales to a three-game sweep, batting .700 (7-for-10) with four runs and scored six RBIs. He recorded multi-hit performances in two games and consistently produced through the series. Â
Wikert helped DeSales post a 1-1 record last week totaling nine ground balls and seven cause turnovers in two games. He has a goal, five ground balls, and three cause turnovers in the two games. Signorella posted MAC qualifying times including the 100-meters (12.91), the long jump (5.20m) and the triple jump (11.02m) at the Marty Pushkin Invitational at West Virgina University. She placed second in the triple jump as her mark also qualified her for the AARTFC Championship and third in the long jump. Both marks rank her #1 in the MAC this season. Â
