Chester, PA (March 28, 2026) - The DeSales University women's track & field team saw five student-athletes post qualifying times/marks for the AARTFC Championships competing at the Danny Curran Invitational on Friday and Saturday at Widener University.
In addition to the five regional championship qualifiers, DSU also had 16 MAC Championship qualifiers.

Ashley Carrier qualified for the MAC Championships in both the 100-meters (13.25) and the 200-meters (27.27). First-yearÂ
Emily Hoysan placed ninth on Saturday in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 15.77 and fellow first-yearÂ
Regan Haley qualified in the 100-meter hurdles with a time 18.55. SeniorÂ
Lindsay Bednarek joined Carrier in qualifying for the 200-meters with an identical time of 27.27.
Bednarek also qualifed for the MAC Championships in the 400-meters (1:00.77) and first-yearÂ
Megan Fornwalt qualified for the conference championships in the 400-meter hurdles (1:14.74). SophomoreÂ
Kay Wiscount was fifth in the 1,500-meters qualfying for both championships with a time of 4:48.95, the ninth best time in team history in the 1,500.

Ellie Kozich placed second in the 5K with the third best time in team history (17:20.39), qualfying for both the MAC and AARTFC Championships. First-yearsÂ

Elizabeth George both qualified for the MAC Championships in the 10K with Harrington also posting an AARTFC qualifying mark (40:04.92), the ninth best 10K in team history. George posted a time of 42:56.23.
In the field events, sophomoreÂ
Brooke Signorella was fifth in the long jump (5.46m), qualifying for both championships and placed second in the triple jump (10.90m). JuniorÂ
Sarah Hope posted an MAC Qualfying mark in the triple jump (9.69m).

Sadie Fenstermaker posted three MAC qualfiying marks and one AARTFC qualfying mark in the discus (39.46m), the third best mark in the discus in team history. Her other qualfying marks came in the shot put (10.35m) and hammer throw (41.33m).
