Grantham, PA (May 2, 2026) - The DeSales University women's track & field team took home second place out of 14 teams at the MAC Outdoor Championships hosted by Messiah University on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
The Bulldogs finish second at the MAC Outdoor Championships for the first time in team history totaling 115 team points, just behind Lebanon Valley College in first place. Assistant Coach
Fallon Heddings was named Co-Assistant Coach of the Year for the Bulldogs.
Top finishers on Saturday included sophomoreÂ
Ashley Carrier taking eighth in the 100-meters in a time of 13.25 seconds. First-yearÂ
Emily Hoysan was second in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 15.03, breaking the school-record.

Megan Fornwalt was third in the 200-meters with a time of 25.88, the second fastest time in team history. In the 400-meters seniorÂ
Lindsay Bednarek was fifth (58.60) and Fornwalt was sixth (58.97), the third and fourth fastest times in team history.

Kay Wiscount won the 800-meter race with a time of 2:12.80, second fastest of all-time and sophomoreÂ
Ellie Kozich was third in the 5K in a time of 17:41.90.
In the field events on Saturday first-yearÂ
Daviana Jones was seventh in the javelin (33.25m), sophomoreÂ
Brooke Signorella won the triple jump (12.14m), breaking the school-record, and juniorÂ
Catherine Crampton placed seventh in the triple jump (10.75m).
The 4x100 and 4x400 relays both shined taking second place in each event in times of 49.06 (4x100) and 3:59.81 (4x400), breaking the school-record in each event. Carrier, juniorÂ
Sarah Hope, Bednarek, and Signorella ran the 4x100 and Bednarek, Wiscount, Fornwalt, and Carrier ran the 4x400.

Ellie Kozich who took home first place in the 10K with a time of 37:30.93 on Thursday. First-yearÂ
Emily Harrington finished seventh in the steeplechase with a time of 12:19.27.
In the field events sophomoreÂ
Sadie Fenstermaker placed fourth in the hammer throw (48.11m), breaking her own school-record in the event and was second in the discus (37.85m). SophomoreÂ
Sophia Amoretti took home top finishes in both the hammer throw (6th - 42.81m) and discus (5th - 34.20m).
In the high jump sophomoreÂ
Brooke Signorella placed fourth (1.57m), tying the school-record and was first in the long jump with a mark of 5.64m.
Several Bulldogs qualified for Saturday afternoon finals including sophomoreÂ
Ashley Carrier in the 100-meters (12.92), first-yearÂ
Emily Hoysan in the 110-meter hurdles (15.20), and first-yearÂ
Megan Fornwalt in both the 200-meters (25.79) and 400-meters (59.39). SeniorÂ
Lindsay Bednarek also qualified in the 400-meters (1:00.77) and sophomoreÂ
Kay Wiscount in the 800-meters (2:17.27).
The 4x100 meter relay team also qualified for the Saturday finals with a time of 49.45.
