Kayla Murawski were each honored on Thursday afternoon being named to the USTFCCCA (United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association) All-Academic as announced by the organization.
In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, student athletes must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.30 on a 4.0 scale and finish in the top-25 percent of their respective regional championship meet.
Murawski, a medical studies major, earns USTFCCCA All-Academic honors for the first time in her career placing 11th at the NCAA Division III MidEast Regional Championships to qualify for the award.
Wells, a criminal justice majors, also earns USTFCCCA All-Academic honors for the first time in his career placing 65th at the NCAA Division III MidEast Regional Championships this season.
