Question and Answer
1 - What has been your favorite sport memory on the field or off over the past four years?
- There have been countless great memories with my teammates throughout my time at DeSales. One of my favorite moments with my team was on our way to MAC champs sophomore year when we sang karaoke as a whole team. It was a unifying moment as a team where we all came together.
2 - What is one thing you'd like to tell all of your underclassmen teammates and/or future SA's in your sport?
- One thing I would tell my underclassman and this goes for all student athletes is to enjoy the little moments. The time spent together as a team creates bonds that go beyond the playing field and builds lasting friendships.
3 - What are or do you have any post-graduate plans?
- Upon my graduation from DeSales I will be working as an operations and logistics manager at Amazon. I am grateful to have been offered this opportunity and be able to stay here in the Lehigh Valley.
4 - What is one thing you would tell your younger self that you learned during your time at DeSales?
- One thing I would tell my younger self from the experiences I have had at DeSales is to change nothing; things seemed to have worked out well thus far. Although I might leave myself with some stock tips.
5 - What made DeSales the place to be for you?
- For me, DeSales just felt like home the moment I stepped on campus and continued to feel that way until the very end. There is a great sense of community and respect for those who are associated with the University.
From Coach Weiner
"When one thinks of a captain, they think of Jake Catino. Jake is the guy you can always count on to get the work done on the track and on the course, and organize social events with the team. I know Jake will continue to be a leader after his time at DeSales."
