Center Valley, PA (October 16, 2024) - The DeSales University League of Legends team was unable to pick up its second straight win falling to NC State, 2-0.

Game 1:
DeSales ran a comp of Sion top lane (Jacky/unhandthylp), Jarvan IV jungle(David/PapaTurk), Silas (Luke/Leuk) mid, Kai'Sa (Alixix/Sccutze) bot-lane ADC, and Lulu (Eric/GenEric) support. NCSU opted for Ornn top lane, Viego jungle, Huey mid, Jinx bot lane ADC and Pyke support. Up until halfway, the game was relatively even with a slight lead for North Carolina State University. Both teams prepared to make a play for a dragon, but server issues caused disconnects. Following reconnects, DeSales lost momentum and North Carolina State University snowballed into a win.

Game 2:
NCSU ran the same comp in game 2 but swapped their bot lane ADC to Kai'Sa. DeSales remade their comp with Illaoi top lane, Lillia jungle, Syndra mid, Ezreal bot lane ADC and Nautilus support. North Carolina State University opened the game with a solid lead in the bot lane, with DeSales unable to catch up. Midlane and top were relatively even, but North Carolina State University's jungle delivered lots of map pressure. Eventually, the North Carolina State University bottom side lead escalated into a snowball, and that plus their stronger vision and map control contributed to the team's win.
