Center Valley, PA (October 16, 2024) - The DeSales University Overwatch team dropped its third straight match to start the season, falling 3-0 to Central Oklahoma.

Game 1:
The first match was played on Lijiang Tower.  Both teams kept it simple, with DeSales playing fairly meta comps of Orisa, Pharah, Sojourn, Juno, and Baptiste and UCO playing Orisa, Genji, Sojourn, Juno, and Brig .  Many fights were close but UCO came out on top with the 2-0.

Game 2:
The next map was King's Row picked by DeSales.  DeSales came out on their classic Rein, Mei, Sojourn, Juno, and Bap against UCO's Orisa, Genji, Sojourn, Juno, and Brig.  This map was not that close, with DeSales starting strong but falling very quickly and losing 1-0 and only getting 91% on the first point.

Game 3:
Since DeSales was losing badly, they went for a different map choice and chose Runasapi as a push map.  DeSales came out on Doom, Tracer, Sojourn, Brig, and Ana while UCO retained their same comp of Orisa, Genji, Sojourn, Brig, and Ana.  The game was close for a while until UCO pulled away with several fight wins in a row and ended up sweeping DeSales 3-0 across the series.
