Center Valley, PA (September 1, 2024) - DeSales University's League of Legends team faced off against University of South Florida. DeSales' roster included GenEric (Eric Chen), Sccutze (Alixix Ratjavong), Leuk (Luke Scalo), Unhandthylp (Jacky Zhang), and PapaTurk (David Terzioglu). University of South Florida's team included Kaaldr, crpLd, Ejay, Gramsmasher and StevetheCrusader.

GAME 1:
In their first game, DeSales University picked a roster of Volibear (Jacky), Jarvan IV (David), Nasus (Luke), Kai'Sa (Alixix), and Nautilus (Eric). University of South Florida opted for a roster with Illaoi, Graves, Orianna, Jinx, and Braum. University of South Florida's Illaoi was able to secure some early kills on Unhandthylp placing USF at a significant gold lead. The lead continued to snowball, with impressive performances from USF's Illaoi and Graves after USF captured several dragons, voidgrubs, and buffs. Leuk held his own in his lane as Nasus, but the team was unable to recover and lost.

GAME 2:
DeSales University opted for a slightly different comp in the second game, with Jacky on Pantheon, Luke on Orianna, and Sccutze on Jhin. USF also swapped their comp, playing with Poppy, Graves, Syndra, Ezreal and Leona. The second game started out quite close and DeSales stayed close behind USF in gold. Luke, Eric and Alixix all performed strongly. However, USF eventually pulled ahead and made an intense Leona push mid which passed DeSales' defenses and won them the game.
