Bethlehem, PA (December 7, 2024) - The DeSales University men's track & field team opened up its indoor season competing at the Fast Times before Finals meet at Lehigh University on Friday and Saturday.
Among the top performances were junior
Tyler McCulloch placing 13th in the 200-meters (24.07). Sophomores
Colin Marsh (1:10.12) and
Bryce Guthier (1:11.29) finished 2nd and 3rd in the 500-meters.
Senior
Sam Estherson was second in the 60-meter hurdles in a time of 8.28 seconds, breaking the school-record and qualifying for the Regional Championships.
In the long jump sophomore
Weston Simak was third (6.42m), first-year
Jonathan Castonovo was fifth (6.32m), and first-year
Jerome Galluscio was sixth (6.00m).
In the triple jump Castronovo was 4th (13.15m), Simak was fifth (13.14m), and junior
Peter Skulski was seventh (12.52m).
Senior
Jacob Schaeffer placed ninth in the shot put (13.35m) and seventh in the weight throw (14.06m), while junior
Jonathan Eudja finished sixth in the weight throw (14.08m).
The Bulldogs won't return to action till January 18th at the Moravian University Invitational at Lehigh University.
