Joey Wilson and
Jonathan Castronovo were each named USTFCCCA All-Region as announced by the organization on its web site on Wednesday afternoon.
The top-8 individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region distinction, in addition to each member of the region's top-8 relay teams. The regions used for this award – East, Great Lakes, Metro, Mid-Atlantic, Mideast, Midwest, Niagara, North, South, and West – match those used during the cross country season.
Wilson earned All-Region honors in both the 3K and 5K events. His time of 8:31.77 in the 3K is a new school-record, while his 15:03.46 in the 5K is the fourth fastest in team history.
Castronovo earned All-Region honors in the heptathlon with 3,998 points, the second most in the event in school history.
