ANNVILLE, Pa (Feb 24, 2026) -- The DeSales University men's and women's indoor track and field teams have been listed eights and seventh respectively in the MAC Indoor track and field pre-championship polls.
Men's track and field are ranked eighth with 119 points, just above King's College (Pa.) who finished ninth with 110 points. Coming in first is Lebanon Valley at 219 points and 13 first place votes, Messiah follows them up with 193 points and two first place votes, then rounding out the top three is Widener with 179 points.
Junior Weston Simak has qualified for both the long jump and triple jump. His triple jump with a mark of 13.72m, at the Diplomat Open, hosted by Franklin and Marshall College, is the second-best mark in team history.
Also qualifying but in the 5K at the Diplomat Open was senior Davis Trump, and junior Bryce Guthier qualifying for the 400-meters with the fifth fastest time in school history.
The women's team is ranked seventh with 141 points, just three points behind York who is ranked sixth. Right below DeSales is King's with 139 points. Coming in first place on the women's side is Lebanon Valley College with 217 points and 13 first place votes. Behind is Stevens with 189 points and one first place vote, then rounding out the top three is Misericordia with 184 points and one first place vote.
Sophomore Brooke Signorella tied the school record in the triple jump with an 11.31m mark, bettering her MAC qualifying mark. She also posted a MAC qualifying time in the 60-meter dash at 8.23 seconds.
Ellie Kozich also has qualified for the MAC championships in both the 3k and the 5k. Sophomore, Kay Wiscount has qualified in the 400-meter with the second-best time in school history and the 800-meter.
The MAC Indoor Championships will be taking place at Alvernia University on February 27 and 28, and tickets for the event can only be purchased online.
