Men’s Track & Field Returns to Franklin and Marshall College

Lancaster, PA (February 7, 2026) - The DeSales University men's track & field team returned to action competing at the Blue and White Invitational at Franklin & Marshall College on Saturday.

Kicking off the running events in the 60‑meter dash was first‑year Owen Wescoe, who placed 36th overall in 7.60 seconds. Sophomore Preston De Grazia followed in 42nd with a time of 7.83.
 
In the 60‑meter hurdles, first‑year Bryce Solly finished 16th in 10.62 seconds. Close behind in 18th was fellow first‑year Tyler Cloidt, who crossed the line in 11.28 seconds. Both Bryce and Tyler earned personal records.
 
For the 200‑meter, sophomore Jack Jacobson led the group with a 20th place finish, running a season best 23.93. First‑year Bryce Solly placed 34th with a personal record time of 24.63. Fellow first‑year Owen Wescoe took 43rd in 25.17, and sophomore Preston De Grazia finished 48th with a personal record 25.91.
 
First‑year Sean Alfaro placed 14th overall in the 300‑meter, clocking 37.88 seconds.
 
In the 400‑meter, sophomore Cooper Stutz crossed the line in 53.93 seconds, placing 18th.
 
In the 600‑meter, sophomore Alex Porambo earned a personal record time of 1:29.10, placing 12th overall. Fellow sophomore Aidan Phillips followed in 16th with a time of 1:33.71.
 
For the 800‑meter, sophomore Keegan Dube earned a 10th place finish with a personal record time of 2:04.49. First‑year Brady Snyder followed in 22nd, crossing the line in 2:09.17. First‑year Joey DeAngelis placed 41st, finishing in 2:36.80.
In the one‑mile, junior Jozef Callano earned a 2nd place finish, running a season best time of 4:29.89. Jozef's time also earned him the MAC qualifying time for the one mile run. First‑year Alden Twist followed close behind in 3rd, clocking a personal record time in 4:36.17. Fellow first‑year Cody Doskocil placed 8th in 4:43.34, while senior Davis Trump took 11th with a time of 4:44.02. First‑year Ryan Durkin finished 14th, crossing the line in 4:44.56. Sophomore James Viglianti secured 16th place in 4:47.82. First‑year Jack Tavani placed 27th in 5:00.97, and senior John Murphy rounded out the group in 37th with a time of 5:16.20.
 
Senior Jordan Gallo finished 26th overall in the 3000‑meter, running a personal record 10:11.63.

In the 5000‑meter, sophomore Bryce Phillips earned a 4th place finish with a time of 16:14.11. Bryce's time also earns him the MAC qualifying time for the 5000-meter run. Junior Andrew Sidorski followed in 22nd place, crossing the line in 17:24.06.
 
Switching to the jumping events, first‑year Tanner Riefenstahl placed 13th in the high jump with a mark of 1.65 meters. Fellow first‑year Tyler Cloidt followed in 16th, earning a personal record jump of 1.45 meters.
 
In the long jump, first-year Tanner Riefenstahl finished 26th with a jump of 5.35 meters, with senior Peter Skulski following close behind in 27th after a 5.27 meter jump.
 
Sophomore Jack Jacobson earned a 5th place finish in the pole vault, clearing a season best jump of 4.10 meters.
 
In the triple jump, first‑year Luke Heimann took 11th overall with a jump of 11.81 meters.
 
Moving to the throwing events, first‑year John Amoretti placed 19th overall in the shot put, with a throw of 11.67 meters. Fellow first‑year Grady Hanson followed in 20th with a mark of 11.64 meters, and first‑year Aidan Tonero finished 40th with a throw of 9.82 meters.
 
In the weight throw, senior Giovanni Wellington earned a 5th place finish with a throw of 14.95 meters. Senior Jonathan Eudja placed 11th with a mark of 13.75 meters, and first‑year John Amoretti closed out the group with a 35th place finish, and a throw of 10.26 meters.
 
The Bulldog's closed out the meet in the 4x400-meter relay. At this international, DSU ran three separate 4x400s. Relay team "A" consisted of Keegan Dube, Alex Porambo, Cody Doskocil, and Jozef Callano. They placed 10th overall, with a time of 3:42.18. Team "B" placed 12th, with a final time of 3:50.68. The team consisted of Brady Snyder, James Viglianti, Alden Twist, and Aidan Phillips. Relay squad "C" consisted of Sean Alfaro, Preston De Grazia, Bryce Solly, and Bryce Guthier. They placed 16th, with a time of 3:58.44.
 
Next weekend, Saturday February 14th, the Bulldog's will continue their indoor track and field season at Cornell University for the Kane Invitational.
