New Orleans, LA (July 21, 2026) - Sophomores Ellie Kozich and Kay Wiscount along with both the DeSales Men's and Women's Track & Field teams were honored on Tuesday being named All-Academic by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) as announced on the organization's web site.

For a team to be honored, they must have a cumulative GPA of 3.1 or higher through the spring semester including all members of the team participating in a season.  For an individual to be honored they must hold a 3.30 cumulative GPA and have finished the season among the top 50 individuals in an event on TFRRS or be a member of a relay ranked among the top 25 in the country on TFRRS.

The DeSales women's team had a 3.41 cumulative GPA and the men's team had a 3.14 cumulative GPA following the spring semester.

Individually, Kozich sports a 4.00 GPA as a Medical Studies major and Wiscount has a 3.58 GPA also as a Medical studies major.  Kozich was ranked among the top 50 in the 5K (indoors) and 10K (outdoors) and Wiscount in the 800-meters in both indoor and outdoor track & field.
