Joey Wilson were all named CSC Academic All-District as announced on the organization's web site Tuesday afternoon.
Eligible nominees must be a sophomore or higher, and must have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher while also either finishing top 50 at the cross country regional championships or ranking among the top 50 in a single track & field event during the season. Each school can nominate a maximum of six student-athletes per gender.
Wilson, a sports management major, placed eighth at the CC Regional Championships and was 223rd in the CC National Championships. In T&F he ranked fifth in the 3K and seventh in the 5K in indoor track and was 21st in the 1,500-meters, third in the 5K, third in the 10K, and fifth in the steeplechase regionally in outdoor track & field.
Phillips, a biology major, placed 44th in the CC Regional Championships. He also ranked 49th in the 5K in indoor track and 20th in the 10K during outdoor track.
Trump, a double major in accounting and finance, was 50th at the CC Regional Championships. In track field he was 33rd and 17th in the 5K in both indoor and outdoor track & field.
Callano, a homeland security major, ranked 12th in the 800-meters and ninth in the mile in indoor track & field, while ranking sixth in the 800-meters and fifth in the 1,500-meters in outdoor track & field.
Simak, a double major in accounting and finance, was 23rd in the long jump and 15th in the triple jump in indoor track & field and place 21st in the long jump and ninth in the triple jump in outdoor track & field.
Watson, a medical studies major, was 30th in the javelin in outdoor track & field.
