Louisville, KY (May 17, 2024) - Junior Rachel Lowry and first-year Paige Hromin were each named to the Region IV All-Region Team as announced by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) on Friday afternoon.

Lowry was named to the Second-Team and Hromin earned Third-Team honors as each player earned All-Region honors for the first time in their careers.

Lowry earned All-MAC Freedom First-Team honors this season finishing the year with a 17-6 record and a 1.71 ERA. She had 20 complete-games and recorded five shutouts, striking out 105 in 143 innings pitched. Lowry tied the single-season record with 17 wins and recorded the sixth most K's in a season.  She also had the second most shutouts in a year with five.

Hromin also earned Honorable-Mention All-MAC Freedom honors this season. She finished the year batting .316 with 31 hits and 22 runs scored, knocking in 18 runs and stealing eight bases.
