Annville, PA (May 8, 2024) - Six members of the DeSales University softball team were named All-Conference as announced by the conference office on Wednesday morning and as voted on by the eight MAC Freedom coaches.

Senior Alexys Vernier and junior Rachel Lowry led the way being named to the All-MAC Freedom First-Team. Sophomore Morgan Benner was named to the All-MAC Freedom Second-Team. Juniors Tori Kenney and Madison Kelly along with first-year student Paige Hromin each earned Honorable-Mention All-MAC Freedom honors.
 
Vernier earns All-Conference honors for the first time in her career after having a breakout senior year in the designated player position. She finished the season with a .338 batting average to along with a homerun and 15 RBIs.
 
Lowry also earns All-Conference honors for the first time, after being one of the top pitchers within the entire MAC Freedom this season. She made 25 appearances on the mound and posted a 17-6 overall record and a 1.71 ERA. Lowry pitched 20 complete games, 5 which were shutouts, and tossed her first career no-hitter as well.
 
Kenney and Kelly each earn All-Conference honors for the second time in their careers. Kenney started in 40 of 42 games for the Bulldogs this season and was second on the team batting .339. She also led the team in hits (42), doubles (9), homeruns (4), and RBIs (32). Kelly appeared in 17 games for DeSales behind the plate and finished the season batting .333 and tallied three RBIs.
 
Benner finished the year leading the Bulldogs with a .357 batting average and was second on the team with 40 hits. Hromin had solid first-year with the team, playing in 39 games this season and batting .316 to go along with 18 RBIs.
