Chester, PA (January 25, 2025) - The DeSales University women's track & field team competed at the Widener University select meet hosted at the University of Penn Indoor track on Friday and Saturday.

DSU had some strong performances led by senior Haley Estus taking home first place in the 3,000-meters with a time of 10:26.69 qualifying for AARTFC Championships.  Fellow senior Nina Viglianti took seventh in the 5K, qualifying for MAC Championships, with a time of 19:44.90.

First-year Brooke Signorella was 25th in the 60-meters with a time 8.31, sophomore Avery Peluszak was 20th in the 400-meters in a time of 1:04.48, and first-year Kay Wiscount posted the fifth best 800 time in team history with an 8th place finish and a time of 2:23.27.

In the field events Signorella was seventh in the high jump (1.45m) and fellow first-year Sadie Fenstermaker was seventh in the weight throw (13.94m) and 12th in the shot put (10.85m).

DeSales is back in action next weekend at the Deschriver Invitational at East Stroudsburg University.
