Manahawkin, NJ (February 17, 2025) - Juniors Morgan Benner and Meghan Dahl along with first-year students Anna Bosch and Sierra Margut were each honored on Monday morning being named NFHCA Scholars of Distinction as announced by the organization.

The NFHCA proudly honors more than 550 outstanding undergraduate student-athletes from more than 135 institutions who have achieved recognition as 2024 Division III Scholars of Distinction. This program acknowledges exceptional undergraduate student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.9 or higher through the fall semester, nominated by their NFHCA member coaches.

Benner, an early childhood education major, has a 3.93 cumulative GPA, and Dahl, a nursing major, has a 3.90 GPA thru last semester. This marks the third time in her career that Dahl earns this honor. 

Bosch, a nursing major, has a perfect 4.0 GPA through her first college semester, and Margut, a medical studies major, has a 3.90 GPA. DeSales has now had 18 players earn this honor since the 2014 season.
