Sierra Margut were each honored on Monday morning being named NFHCA Scholars of Distinction as announced by the organization.
The NFHCA proudly honors more than 550 outstanding undergraduate student-athletes from more than 135 institutions who have achieved recognition as 2024 Division III Scholars of Distinction. This program acknowledges exceptional undergraduate student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.9 or higher through the fall semester, nominated by their NFHCA member coaches.
Benner, an early childhood education major, has a 3.93 cumulative GPA, and Dahl, a nursing major, has a 3.90 GPA thru last semester. This marks the third time in her career that Dahl earns this honor.
Bosch, a nursing major, has a perfect 4.0 GPA through her first college semester, and Margut, a medical studies major, has a 3.90 GPA. DeSales has now had 18 players earn this honor since the 2014 season.
