Bethlehem, PA (April 26, 2025) - First-year Sadie Fenstermaker broke the school-record in the hammer throw leading the DeSales University women's track & field team at the Carol and John Covert Classic at Lehigh University on Friday and Saturday.

The top performers in the running events were first-year Brooke Signorella who took sixth in the 100-meters with a time of 12.79 and first-year Kay Wiscount placed ninth in the 1,500-meters with a time of 4:53.18.

Fenstermaker had three strong finishers placing 15th in the shot put (10.18m) bettering her MAC qualfying mark, taking seventh in the discus with a mark of 39.13m, qualfying for the AARTFC regionals, and took third in the hammer throw with a toss of 49.65m.  First-year Sophia Manidis bettered her MAC qualfying mark in the hammer throw with a mark of 39.72m.

The Bulldogs return to action next weekend competing at the MAC Outdoor Championships on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
