Bethlehem, PA (April 26, 2025) - The DeSales University men's track & field had one final tune up this weekend competing at the Carol and John Covert Classic at Lehigh University.

Beginning on Friday evening in the Hammer, junior Jonathan Eudja placed 6^th overall, with a throw of 46.85 meters. Junior Giovanni Wellington took 10^th overall, with a throw of 45.33 meters. Sophomore Cameron Williams finished in 15^th overall, with a throw of 42.73 meters.
 
For the Javelin, junior Peter Skulski placed 12^th overall, with a throw of 46.63 meters. Junior Dane Watson finished in 13^th overall, with a throw of 45.57 meters. Senior Jacob Schaeffer placed 18^th, with a throw of 41.78 meters. Sophomore Kaden Issa took 20^th, with a throw of 39.78 meters. Sophomore Cameron Williams placed 22^nd, with a throw of 35.61 meters.
 
Starting Saturday on the track in the 3000 meter Steeplechase was first-year Brian Samayoa, who placed 7^th with a time of 11:53.95.
 
In the 1500 meter, first-year James Viglianti finished in 26^th place overall, with a time of 4:24.21. Senior Cody Smith placed 28^th overall, with a time of 4:29.59.
 
Sophomore Bryce Guthier placed 8^th in the 400 meter, with a time of 51.90.
 
In the 100 meter, junior Tyler McCulloch took 14^th overall, with a time of 11.50. First-year Jack Jacobson placed 18^th overall, with a time of 11.58. Senior Sam Estherson finished in 18^th overall, with a time of 11.74. Junior Braeden De Grazia placed 21^st, with a time of 11.97.
 
For the 800, first-year Alex Porambo placed 27^th overall, with a time of 2:01.69. First-year Jordan Smith placed 47^th, with a time of 2:12.19. Junior Jordan Gallo placed 50^th, with a time of 2:15.28. First-year Michael Arculeo placed 52^nd, with a time of 2:24.03.
 
First-year Aidan Phillips placed 5^th overall in the 400 meter Hurdles, with a time of 1:00.85.
 
In the 200 meter, first-year Cooper Stutz placed 16^th overall, with a time of 23.33. Junior Braeden De Grazia finished in 26^th, with a time of 24.76.
 
Sophomore Javell McMichael placed 11^th overall in the Long Jump, with a jump of 5.75 meters.
 
In the Shot Put, Senior Jacob Schaeffer placed 12^th overall, with a throw of 13.14 meters. Senior Nick Chinn finished in 26^th, with a throw of 11.32 meters. Junior Giovanni Wellington placed 27^th, with a throw of 11.26 meters. Sophomore Trevor Keperling placed 31^st, with a throw of 10.54 meters.
 
For the Discus, senior Jacob Schaeffer took 5^th overall, with a throw of 47.60 meters. Senior Nick Chinn placed 17^th overall, with a throw of 36.58 meters. Junior Giovanni Wellington placed 19^th overall, with a throw of 34.70 meters. Sophomore Cameron Williams finished in 22^nd, with a throw of 32.53 meters.
 
DeSales also competed in the 4x100 meter Relay with team "A" placing 2^nd overall, with a final time of 44.20.
 
The Bulldog's will now be gearing up for MAC's which will take place over a three day period  between May 1^st and May 3^rd.
