Kutztown, PA (September 13, 2025) - Sophomore
Ellie Kozich finished in fifth place overall leading the DeSales University women's cross country team to a seventh place finish at the Division II/III Challenge at Kutztown University on Saturday morning.
Kozich was the top Division III runner in the field finishing the 6K course in a time of 23:11.8.
The rest of the Bulldogs top five were first-year students with
Hannah Miller placing 43rd in a time of 25:41.4,
Emily Harrington taking 52nd place in a time of 26:17.9,
Elizabeth George in 67th place with a time of 28:17.1, and
Angela Crowley was across in 69th place in 28:43.5.
Senior
Abby Durbano was next across for the Bulldogs in 72nd place in a time of 29:20.5.
The Bulldogs are back in action in two weeks competing at the Hornet Harrier Invitational on September 27th.
