Winchester, VA (September 27, 2025) - The DeSales University women's cross country team dominated the Hornet Harrier Invitational on Saturday taking first place out of six teams competing.
The Bulldogs saw eight runners finish among the top eight in the race.
Leading the was sophomoreÂ
Ellie Kozich winning the race in a time of 24:19.4, crossing the finish line 2:21 before the next best finisher.
Four first-year students rounded out DSU's top five asÂ
Hannah Miller was second (26:40.2),Â
Emily Harrington was third (26:52.5),Â
Amanda Witters was fifth (27:02.8), andÂ
Danielle Boland was seventh (27:32.8).
JuniorÂ
Andie Hollander placed ninth with a time of 27:47.3, seniorÂ
Abby Durbano was 10th (28:04.1), and first-yearÂ
Elizabeth George took 11th (28:14.2).
The Bulldogs are back in action in two weeks when they host their home invitational on Saturday, October 11th.
