Chester, PA (March 28, 2013) – Junior Cara Guth joined a few DeSales University women's track & field distance runners on Thursday, traveling down to day one of the Danny Curran Invitational and came away with a first place finish in the 10,000-meters with a school-record time to lead the Bulldogs.

Guth finished the 10K in a time of 38:23.28, a full 1:37 faster than the previous school-record which had stood since 1995 and was previously held by Desi Symons.

The Bulldogs will return to action on Saturday. April 6th when they travel to Muhlenberg College.
