Box Score
Center Valley, PA (August 30, 2013) – Tben Donn scored with 1:48 left on the clock the Bulldogs were unable to find the tying goal for time expired in regulation as Neumann University spoiled DSU's season opener with a 1-0 win on Friday afternoon.

Donn took a long pass over the top about 35 yards out on the right sideline and dribbled straight towards the end line but with no one on Neumann making a run in the middle, he fired a shot at the last second before being forced over the line, just inside the near post, surprising DSU goalie, junior Colin Sulpizio, who didn't move anticipating a centering pass as the ball snuck past and into the net for the game's only goal.

After a stagnant first-half that saw just six total shots (5-1 in favor of Neumann), each team got off 10 shots in the second-half as the Knights ended the game with a 15-11 edge in shots.  DSU held a 7-4 advantage in corner kicks.

Sulpizio kept DSU in the game making eight saves, while NU's keeper needed just two saves to record the shutout.

The Bulldogs are right back at it tomorrow when they host Rutgers-Camden in another non-conference game beginning at 4:30 pm.
