Center Valley, PA (October 9, 2020) - The DeSales University esports Overwatch team earned its first victory of the Fall season last Thursday with a 3-0 sweep of Albright College.

Here is a brief recap written by sophomore Wyatt Giberson.

Thursday night's match against Albright College was a fun but challenging set of games, The first map Oasis, fell to DeSales quite easily, with little to no resistance, as both points were 100% to zero.

Game two, Dorado, was slightly closer as Albright was able to push on their attack past the second point, but some clutch plays from that nights MVP, Chinnsanity, allowed DeSales to not only completely stop the push but Roll on the offensive side, leading to a 3-2 win for an overall 2-0 lead going into the final map, Kings Row.

Similar to Dorado, Albright was able push forward to the second point, but the entire DeSales roster pulled through to hold their push for five whole minutes leading to their inevitable victory on their attack rounding out the night with a full sweep, 3-0.
