Center Valley, PA (April 20, 2026) - On Friday, April 16, DeSales Overwatch competed in the first stage of its NACE division's Playoffs bracket. The match was a best-of-three against the Cottey Comets, with team captain Chris O'Brien (OBCana) on DPS, Francis Schick (DevilBoy612) and Olivia Tees (Judex) also on DPS, John Roach (Bottom500) and Jane Mannion (LilacGhost) on Support and Bryson Dorn (Wellitried1) on Tank. 

The match quickly snowballed to a good start with a smooth victory on Ilios. This is a very strong map for our Tank main Bryson, who is a Roadhog aficionado and has plenty of experience on it. DeSales' second matchup on Shambali Monastery went even better, with Bottom500 (on Wuyang) securing an impressive 1v4 clutch and Wellitried1 scoring a nice Sigma ult combined with DevilBoy612's visor to win a significant teamfight. Bottom500 was not the only support popping off here — LilacGhost proved a reliable teammate even in the most stressful situations, especially on Shambali. OBCana successfully experimented with the new hero Sierra, nimbly navigating across the battlefield. The final map, Blizzard World, clinched a 3-0 victory, meaning DeSales will progress to the next stage of the playoffs.
