Center Valley, PA (February 17, 2026) - The DeSales University esports team split two Swiss Stage Overwatch matches on Monday evening falling to Benedict College, 2-1, and defeating Wittenberg University, 2-0.

Game 1: L/1-2 vs. Benedict College 

DeSales started off strong with a first map win on Lijiang Tower, but an opponent's swap to Venture would prove to be a problem for the DSU backline. After banning the Venture, DeSales picked up their first map win of the season, but would lose it on Map 3.

Game 2: W/2-0 vs. Wittenberg University

DeSales got the first win of the season thanks to some great team play on Ilios for the first map. The new support heroes, Jetpack Cat and Mizuki, were both being used by DeSales to create an advantage in the backline. Map 2 was just as dominant, and DeSales looks to keep the winning streak going next week! They are currently 1-3 in the Swiss portion of their season.
