Matthew Murray broke his own school-record in the shot put leading the DeSales University men's track & field team at the Coach P and Widener University Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
Murray was first in the shot put (15.72m) and sixth in the hammer throw (45.08m) at the Coach P Invitational at Moravian. Graduate student
Jackie Ni was first in the hammer throw (51.79m) and senior
Alessio Brattoli placed fifth in the javelin (53.29m).
At Widener, sophomore Kyle Dunbar was fifth in the 400-meter dash (49.94), junior Carl Tyce finished third in the 800-meters (1:52.36), junior Joey Cummings placed second in the steeplechase (9:43.89), and junior Brian Bruno took fourth in the 10K (32:59.65).
The Bulldogs are back in action at the Penn Relays (Friday) and Lehigh Invitational next week.
