Men's Cross Country Slated Fourth in Postseason Polls

ANNVILLE, PA (Oct. 29, 2025) -- The DeSales University men's cross country team has been picked fourth overall in the MAC Postseason Polls as voted on by the 16 MAC head coaches and as released by the conference office on Wednesday morning.  

DeSales earned 181 votes, landing them comfortably in fourth place, with Stevens in fifth with just 168 points. Lebanon Valley came in first with 225 points and all 15 of the first place votes. Beneath them is Misericordia with 201 points and Messiah with 198 points.  

Junior Joey Wilson has had yet another strong season, running a season bet of 25:10.7 at the Boarder Battle at Rowan University, landing in 19th place overall. Wilson also placed third at the DII/DIII Challenge at Kutztown earlier in the season, finishing in 26:13.6.  

Other strong performances from the Bulldogs include James Cook. The senior ran a season's best 26:26.6 at the Boarder Battle. First-years Keegan Dube and Noah Zimmerman showed out, finishing in 7th and 9th overall at the LVC Last Chance Meet.  

Last season, the team finished fourth at the MAC Championships, hosted at Messiah. They then went to attend the NCAA Division III Metro Regionals, where they placed 7th out of the 26 teams in the field.  

The Bulldogs are gearing up for the MAC Championships on Saturday, hosted in Doylestown, PA.
