Center Valley, PA (February 10, 2026) - The DeSales University esports Overwatch team dropped its first two matches of the 2026 season on Monday evening falling to Old Dominion University and La Salle University, 2-0

Match 1: DeSales University vs. Old Dominion; 0-2 loss

DeSales played a hard-fought match against an experienced team in ODU. Unfortunately, Map 1 was a tough loss against an aggressive play style from their opponents. The second map saw more of the same, with a couple of fights going the way of DeSales. They were unable to take the advantage and lost the second map.

Map 1: Ilios, final score 0-2
Map 2: Blizzard World, final score 0-1 

Match 2: DeSales University vs. LaSalle; 0-2 loss

DeSales got pressured heavily by long-range attacks in Map 1, which forced an advantage for LaSalle. In Map 2, DeSales saw more success after swapping around some of their hero choices. They were able to hold on defense for the required time and, unfortunately, lost after a great effort.
