Men’s Track & Field Competes at Home Invitational

Center Valley, PA (April 4, 2026) - The DeSales University men's track & field team competed at the home Invitational on Saturday.

Starting off the meet on the track in the 5,000-meter was first-year Noah Zimmerman, who placed 4th with a time of 17:05.
 
In the 1,500-meter was junior Jozef Callano who earned 1st place overall, with a time of 4:00.24. Following in 3rd place was first-year Keegan Dube, who crossed the finish line in a time of 4:13.83. Senior Davis Trump finished in 5th place overall in a time of 4:15.23. First-year Alden Twist crossed the line right behind in 6th place, running 4:22.12. Sophomore Bryce Phillips placed 9th with a time of 4:23.97. Sophomore Jordan Smith, fellow sophomore James Viglianti, and first-year Jack Tavani finished in 11th, 12th, and 13th respectively, running times of 4:25.21, 4:25.486, and 4:25.490. Senior James Cook, fellow senior Jordan Gallo, and first-year Ryan Durkin placed 16th, 17th, and 18th, running times of 4:28.80, 4:29.45, and 4:30.71. Junior Andrew Sidorski finished in 20th place with a time of 4:34.29. Rounding out the pack of Bulldog's in the 1,500 was first-year Joey DeAngelis, who placed 26th in a personal record time of 5:07.94.
 
For the 400-meter first-year Bryce Solly placed 8th overall, running a time of 54.53 seconds.
 
In the 100-meter sophomore Jack Jacobson finished in 4th place overall in a time of 11.65 seconds. First-year Reed Felker placed 6th running a time of 11.71 seconds. Right behind in 7th was sophomore Cooper Stutz who finished in a time of 11.82 seconds. First-year Owen Wescoe took 10th place in an overall time of 12.00 seconds. First-year Sean Alfaro placed 13th overall in 12.43 seconds. Following close behind in 14th place was sophomore Preston De Grazia, who crossed the line in a time of 12.71 seconds.
 
For the 800-meter, sophomore Alex Porambo placed 4th overall in a time of 2:01.69. First-year Brady Snyder finished in 7th in 2:04.55. Sophomore Bryce Phillips crossed the line in 2:08.56. Fellow sophomore James Viglianti placed 13th overall in a time of 2:12.11. Senior Jordan Gallo placed 16th in 2:14.67 and sophomore Jordan Smith finished in 17th in a time of 2:15.18. First-year Ryan Durkin ran 2:16.58, placing 19th overall. Senior James Cook crossed the finish line in 21st in 2:18.42. Senior John Murphy placed 23rd in a 2:19.64. Sophomore Michael Arculeo finished in 25th in a personal record time of 2:22.96. First-year Joey DeAngelis rounded out the pack placing 27th in a time of 2:31.72.
 
In the 400-meter Hurdles junior Bryce Guthier took 3rd place overall in a time of 58.80 seconds. Sophomore Aidan Phillips finished in 7th place, running a time of 1:01.39 seconds.
 
For the 200-meter first-year Reed Felker placed 4th overall in a time of 22.81 seconds. First-year Sean Alfaro finished in 7th in 23.08 seconds, and sophomore Cooper Stutz followed in 8th place in a time of 23.09 seconds. First-year Bryce Solly finished in 14th place overall running in 24.06 seconds.
 
In the 3,000-meter Steeple Chase junior Joey Wilson earned 1st place overall in an overall time of 9:35.43.
 
Switching to the field events in the Hammer was senior Jonathan Eudja, who earned 2nd place overall with a throw of 50.39 meters. Senior Giovanni Wellington placed 4th overall with a mark of 40.35 meters. First-year Ryan Rodriguez finished in 12th with a throw of 30.36 meters.
 
In the Discus first-year Ryan Rodriguez earned 1st place overall with a personal record throw of 38.55 meters. Placing right behind in 2nd was senior Giovanni Wellington with a throw of 37.57 meters. First-year John Amoretti finished in 4th place overall with personal record mark of 37.27 meters. Senior Christopher Landau placed 12th with a throw of 32.96 meters. First-year Grady Hanson finished in 15th in 26.85 meters, fellow first-year Aidan Tonero placed 16th in 26.74 meters. First-year Tyler Cloidt rounded out the Bulldog's finishing in 19th, with a throw of 24.29 meters.
 
For the Shot Put first-year John Amoretti placed 6th overall with a throw of 12.23 meters. Fellow first-year Grady Hanson finished in 9th with a throw of 11.68 meters. First-year Christopher Landau placed 12th with a mark of 10.84 meters. First-year Aidan Tonero came in 16th place with a throw of 9.71 meters.
 
In the Long Jump junior Weston Simak earned 1st place with a jump of 6.69 meters. Right behind taking 2nd place overall was sophomore Jonathan Castronovo with a jump of 6.51 meters. Junior Javell McMichael placed 6th overall with a mark of 5.04 meters.
 
For the Tripple Jump junior Weston Simak earned 1st place, with a personal record jump of 14.13 meters. Senior Peter Skulski finished 2nd overall with a jump of 12.10 meters.
 
In the Pole Vault sophomore Jack Jacobson took 2nd place overall, with a jump of 3.80 meters.
 
For the Javelin first-year Brendan Miller earned 1st place with a throw of 48.14 meters. Following in 2nd was senior Dane Watson, with a throw of 48.00 meters. First-year Tyler Cloidt placed 5th overall with a mark of 43.80 meters. In 6th place was sophomore Preston De Grazia in a throw of 41.93 meters. First-year Kaden Issa finished in 9th place with a throw of 38.37 meters.
 
In the High Jump sophomore Jonathan Castronovo earned 2nd place overall, with a jump of 1.83 meters.
 
In the 4x100 meter Relay DeSales took 2nd place overall with a final time of 44.34 seconds.
 
DeSales closed the meet running three 4x400 meter Relays. Relay team "A" placed 2nd overall, with a final time of 3:29.05. Relay team "B" finished in 4th place with a time of 3:37.62. Lastly, relay team "C" placed 7th overall with a time of 3:45.70.
 
Next Saturday April 18th , 2026 the Bulldog's will return to action at the Moravian University Invitational.
