Bethlehem, PA (April 18, 2026) - The DeSales University men's track & field team competed at the Coach Pollard Invitational at Moravian University on Friday and Saturday.
Friday night also saw junior
Jozef Callano compete in the Elite 800-meter at the Widener University Paul Donahue Invitational. He placed 22
nd overall with a final time of 1:54.16. His performance moves him into 4
th place on the DeSales all-time outdoor top‑10 list for the 800. He is also currently ranked 78
th in the 2026 NCAA Division III outdoor rankings.
Starting on the track Friday night at Moravian in the 10,000-meter was first-year
Noah Zimmerman, who placed 19
th overall, crossing the line in 35:42.38. Junior
Andrew Sidorski followed right behind in 20
th place with a time of 37:17.55.
On Friday in the field events, senior
Jonathan Eudja placed 7
th in the Hammer Throw with a mark of 48.69 meters. Fellow senior
Giovanni Wellington finished 13
th with a throw of 44.53 meters. First-year
Ryan Rodriguez placed 24
th with a throw of 39.55 meters, and first-year
John Amoretti finished 40
th with a mark of 27.23 meters.
In the Shot Put, first-year
John Amoretti placed 17
th overall with a throw of 12.68 meters. Fellow first-year

Switching to the track on Saturday in the 3,000-meter Steeplechase, first-year

Jordan Smith, who crossed the line in 10:38.69. All three earned the MAC qualifying standard for the 3k steeplechase outdoors.
Leading the 1,500-meter was junior
Jozef Callano, who earned 2
nd place overall, crossing the finish line in a standout time of 3:53.65. His performance places him into 1
st on the DeSales all-time outdoor top‑10 list for the event. The time also re‑qualifies him for MACs and marks a new personal record in the event. Following in 9
th place was fellow junior
Joey Wilson, who ran another standout time of 4:01.84. His performance qualifies him for the MAC standard in the 1,500 outdoors, is a personal record, and ranks him 10
th in DeSales outdoor history. Additional strong performances in the event included senior
Jordan Gallo, who placed 37
th overall in 4:28.75, and first-year
Joey DeAngelis, who finished in 46
th with a personal record of 5:05.56.
In the 400-meter dash, first-year
Sean Alfaro placed 37
th overall with a time of 51.71 seconds. Sophomore

DeSales competed in the 4x100-meter Relay. The squad consisted of

th overall, with a final time of 44.51 seconds.
DeSales also competed in two 4x400-meter Relays. Team "A" consisted of

Jozef Callano. They finished in 23
rd overall with a final time of 3:36.40. Squad "B" consisted of
Alex Porambo,
Keegan Dube,
Brady Snyder, and
Joey Wilson. They placed 25

Next Friday and Saturday (April 24
th – April 25
th) the Bulldog's will return to action at the Carol and John Covert Classic hosted by Lehigh University.
