CENTER VALLEY, PA (Sept. 17, 2026) -- Yesterday, the DeSales University men's soccer team hosted a cancer awareness game as they took on Penn State Berks at home. Both teams wore matching pink shirts for warm-ups to unite beyond something bigger than soccer. Cancer awareness is vital because it promotes early detection, healthy lifestyle changes, and equitable access to treatment. More awareness around the disease empowers individuals to recognize early warning signs and seek help when needed.
