Amy Yencho ’04 was a terrific player on the women’s basketball team graduating from DeSales with a degree in biology.
Yencho helped lead the Bulldogs to two ECAC Championships earning ECAC South Region Tournament MVP honors in 2002 and make one appearance in the NCAA Tournament in 2003. She was named the MAC Freedom Rookie of the Year in 2001 and earned All-MAC Freedom Second-Team honors twice in 2002 and 2004.
She continues to rank among the all-time leaders in several statistical categories including 12th in scoring with 1,341 career points. Yencho is also 11th in assists (290), 13th in steals (214), eighth in three-pointers made (124), and 14th in three-point field goal percentage (32.8%).
