DeSales University Athletics

Victor Longo III, DO '01 was a standout on the men's cross country and track & field teams from 1997-01. While at DeSales he earned All-MAC First-Team honors with a 10th place finish at the MAC CC Championships in 1999 and Second-Team honors with a 15th place finish in 2000. He was named to the All- Freshman Mid-East All-Region Team in 1997, named to the MAC Executive Director All-Academic Team in 1998, and earned MAC Academic All-Conference honors in Indoor T&F in 1999.

Longo had a third place finish in the 1,500-meters during outdoor track & field in 1998 and was fifth in the 5,000-meters in indoor track & field in 2000 at the MAC Championships. He was named the Dr. John Compardo Male Athlete of the Year in 2001 and earned an NCAA Postgraduate scholarship in 2001.
