Matt Reppert was a standout pitcher on the baseball team from 2003-06. Dr. Reppert was one of the most consistent and dominant pitchers in DSU history finishing his career with the lowest ERA in team history (2.55). He is also the all-time leaders in wins with 27, innings pitched with 282 2/3, and complete games with 18. Reppert is second all-time with 41 games started, second with four shutouts and fifth all-time with 17 2 career strikeouts. DSU went 116-58 in his four years with the team winning three MAC Freedom Championships, advancing to the NCAA Tournament three times, winning the 2003 NCAA Regional Championship, and becoming the first and only team to ever play in the NCAA Division III College World Series. Dr. Reppert was named the MAC Rookie of the Year in 2003, earned MAC Freedom Pitcher of the Year honors three times, and was named to the All-MAC First-Team three times. He earned ECAC Pitcher of the Year honors in 2005, was named All-ECAC three times, including First-Team twice, and was named to the ABCA All-Region Second-Team three times.
