DeSales University Athletics

Costello was a standout player on both the women's basketball and softball teams.  She graduated as the all-time leader in assists (640) and steals (372) in women's basketball and scored 1,410 career points.  Costello was named the women's basketball team MVP twice and softball MVP once.  She was a Regional and National All-American as a senior in basketball and was also named the NAIA District 19, Eastern States Athletic Conference, and Philadelphia Area Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (PAIAW) Player of the Year in 1987-88.
