DeSales University Athletics

Lowry was a standout player on both the men's soccer and men's basketball teams playing three seasons for each team.  At the time of his induction he was ranked fifth all-time in shutouts (6) and second in goals against average (1.29) in soccer, while in basketball he scored 884 career points, and ranked 10th in field goal percentage (.524), seventh in free throws made (254), 13th in rebounds (570), ninth in blocked shots (64), and eighth in double-doubles (13).  Lowry was named to the NSCAA Mid-Atlantic All-Region Soccer team in 1988 and is a two-time Male Athlete of the Year, earning the honor in 1989-90 and 1990-91.  In his first season on the soccer, DSU won a school-record 17 games, won the ESAC Championship, and advanced to the NAIA Area 8 Tournament.  In his senior year on the basketball team, DeSales won 20+ games for the first time in school history and took home the ECAC Championship.  Lowry was named to the ECAC All-Tournament Team after scoring 27 points and 13 rebounds in the title game.
