Louis Corominas ’06 was a standout runner on the track & field team for four years graduating from DeSales in 2006 with a bachelor of science in marketing and management of information technology.
 
Corominas was a highly successful runner finishing his career as a 4-time NCAA National Championship qualifier earning All-American honors three times including the outdoor 400-meters in 2005 (8th place) and 2006 (5th place) and indoor 400-meters in 2006 (3rd place).
 
During his MAC Indoor and Outdoor T&F Championship career he finished among the top finishers seven times at the MAC Indoor Championships and eight times at the MAC Outdoor Championships.  Corominas was an 8-time MAC Individual Champion winning the 400-meters in both indoors and outdoors six times in his career.
 
He was named the MAC Track Athlete of the Year twice (2005 and 2006 Indoors), was the ECAC 400-meter Individual Champion during the Indoor Championships in 2006, was named to the MAC All-Century Team for the 2000-09 era and was the Dr. John Compardo Male Athlete of the Year in 2006.
 
Corominas still owns the indoor MAC Record as well as the MAC Championship record in the 400-meters and is still owns five school-records including the 200 and 400 (indoors) and the 100, 200, and 400 (outdoors) meters.
