Mike Kearney ’93 was a standout men’s basketball player from 1989-93 graduating from DeSales University with a bachelor of arts in English.
 
Kearney appeared in 104 career games scoring 1,363 career points ranking seventh all-time in scoring and 600 career rebounds which ranks 13th all-time.  He also ranks third all-time in field goals made (576), 10th in field goal percentage (.554), and 12th all-time in double-doubles (11).
 
DSU posted a 64-45 record in his four years including a 20-win season in 1990-91 that culminated in an ECAC Tournament Championship.  Kearney was named ESAC All-Conference twice earning Second-Team honors as a junior and First-Team honors as a senior.  He was also named ECAC All-Region First-Team in 1991-92 and was the Dr. John Compardo Male Athlete of the Year in 1993.
