DeSales University Athletics

Yost was a standout baseball player and golfer at DeSales.  At his time of induction he still ranked among the all-time leaders in strikeouts, ERA, complete-games, shutouts, and wins as a pitcher on the baseball team.  Yost was named the team's Most Valuable Player three times and was undefeated on the golf course in three of his four years at DeSales.  He was granted a free agent tryout with the Philadelphia Phillies after graduating and was very successful on the golf course following college including qualifying and competing in the 2004 US Senior Open at Bellerive Country Club in St. Louis, MO.
