Raquel ‘Kelly’ (Hoffman) Stump ’93 was a standout on the softball team from 1990-93 graduating from DeSales in 1993 with a bachelors of science in nursing.

She was honored several times during her playing days including being named PAIAW First-Team in 1990, ESAC First-Team three times (1990, 1992, 1993), and NSCA All-Region First-Team in 1990.

Stump finished her career with a .357 batting average which still ranks 12th all-time, ranks 10th all-time in runs scored with 82, 17th all-time in hits with 110, ninth in RBIs with 74, 11th in stolen bases with 21, and is still the all-time leader in career triples with 19.
